Treasure Earth is delighted to announce the appointment of Maria Scanlan to the Board as Non-Executive Director, effective 17 October 2018.

A highly skilled legal professional, Maria brings a wealth of international experience, firstly in financial services as Head of Legal at Royal Bank of Scotland, where she leads a team of in-house lawyers, prior to which, as Senior Associate at DLA Piper, she specialised in complex High Court litigation, international arbitration and regulatory investigations, and again as Senior Associate in the international arbitration team at US global law firm WilmerHale in London.

Ben brings the benefit of an international career and first class credentials as award-winning international sport and entertainment partnership and marketing leader with 15 years’ experience B2B and B2C from the brand side (Digicel, Vodafone), and the agency side (Octagon, MEC) and as a rights holder with media owner experience (ESI Media).

Ben brings the perfect marketing and sponsorship mix having worked with companies like Digicel Group across the Carribean, Central America and South Pacific as Group Head of Sponsorship and Member of the Group Marketing Senior Leadership team. Major regional sponsorships and broadcast partnerships included: NBA, Tuff Gong (Bob Marley’s label), NRL, FIFA, UEFA and other high-profile partnerships.

Treasure Earth and the Treasure Earth challenge are universal, apolitical, pacifist and impartial so that everyone can feel inspired to get involved regardless of their status, identity or beliefs.

Regardless of our status, identity or beliefs however, and no matter how our valued scientists explain the creation of the world, don’t we see ∗ Jehovah our God in every microscopic particle and the very DNA that governs every scientific process by which the world and life itself were created? Is there any legitimate dispute therefore between science and the creationists, and is there any part of science or indeed the universe that is not part of His creation? Isn’t all science intended for the benefit of mankind, for the preservation of planet earth and for the wonder of the entire universe and not for their destruction? Have you ever noticed when you stand in an area of natural, unspoiled beauty that paradise is in evidence all around us where we live in harmony and where we treasure planet earth?
