Treasure Earth appoints Head of Social Media

Treasure Earth is pleased to announce the appointment of Joanna Woodley as Head of Social Media for the 2021 Care Prize Awards effective 23 September 2020. As a senior consumer marketing professional she brings a wealth of experience across brand marketing and media planning spanning digital, outdoor, print and radio campaigns and where her ticket-driving initiatives achieve record audiences. She has an impressive track record managing teams to drive outstanding growth in mass market events and successfully bringing new events to market with focus on the customer experience through insights and social engagement.

In her  role as Head of Consumer Marketing at PWR Events (now part of IMG) she spent the last 8 years successfully managing premium, large scale events in heritage venues within The Royal Parks and Historic Royal Palaces.

This included her role directing all marketing and communications for Hyde Park Winter Wonderland – where she increased sales and market share seeing Winter Wonderland grow into Europe’s largest Christmas destination. It was due to this success that in 2016 PWR was acquired by IMG for its Arts & Entertainments portfolio. Under Joanna’s direction Hyde Park Winter Wonderland became the Arts & Entertainment’s flagship and the second highest-grossing event of the company’s global events division, receiving more than 3 million visitors across its six weeks run (prior to Covid-19). Responsible for brand strategy, ticket-driving campaigns and media planning  Joanna managed teams working across Digital Marketing campaigns, Artwork and Content Production, Social Media, Digital Product Builds and PR and Communications and secured and managed partnerships including but not limited to: Evening Standard, Time Out, Bauer Radio, Mumsnet and Booking.com

As Head of Marketing at PWR Events before it was acquired by IMG, she managed a team to successfully grow audiences to full capacity across multiple outdoor events and festivals including Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, Hampton Court Palace Festival and ice rinks at Hampton Court Palace and the Tower of London.

Joanna started out as Marketing Manager at Festival Republic where she successfully managed the advertising campaigns for a series of music festivals, concerts, tours and events including the Reading and Leeds Festivals and the Latitude Festival of music, arts & culture.

She was responsible for building the brand for Latitude Festival and led the marketing campaign to bring the event to market achieving 500% growth in attendance in the first 3 years.

 

EXTRA CURRICULAR

Joanna curated and produced two immersive, mixed media exhibitions in an East London venue. Working with a collective of artists, the exhibitions mixed illustration, graphic art, photography, installation and soundscapes with poetry and live music events..

Previously ran club nights at a well known club venue in London including booking DJs, live bands and organising themed events.
