Treasure Earth is pleased to announce the appointment of Samuel Famolu as Digital Strategist, Prize campaigns and Awards and Member of the Advisory Board Treasure earth C.I.C. effective 15 November 2019.
As expert digital strategist Samuel is passionate about business, capacity development and applying his considerable skills and experience to addressing youth and adult unemployment in Africa. As such he has made it his priority and long term goal to train individuals and enable schools, educational institutions and businesses in Africa to optimise their digital skills and embrace the digital age. To date he has trained over 18,000 participants on topics including digital marketing, entrepreneurship, brand positioning, digital evangelism, online safety, smartphone optimization, productivity, web design, blogging, digital strategy, human rights while acquiring additional skills in digital transformation, business analysis, project management, leadership and Investment.
He has trained for organizations in Nigeria such as Google, Eco Bank, Nigerian Law school, Cars45, Access (Diamond) bank, Oriflame Sweden, AWEP, Next Economy, Sterling Bank, Facebook, the list is by no means exhaustive. As Digital Skills Trainer at ‘Google Digital Skills for Africa’ he led trainers and facilitated at Haptics Nigeria to work as part of Google’s project partnering with organisations in Nigeria, South Africa and Kenya to train 10 million Africans in digital skills for business, educational and personal development.
A lawyer and barrister by training and specialising in business and corporate law working with several organizations and startups, Samuel is also Founder of Sabilawyer, his own legal consulting practice providing micro, small and medium scale businesses access to expert legal services at affordable rates. Samuel provides legal tips and empowerment covering everyday issues, delivered across various digital media channels through the empowerment arm of SabiLawyer.
Samuel is also an Independent Legal Analyst at Filerskeepers, Netherlands, involved in research on GDPR data retention periods in all countries of the world to set gold standards for organisations to apply. Filerskeepers was named by Gartner a 2019 “Cool Vendor” in Legal and Compliance Automation.
Prior to that he worked as ICT Lawyer at nHub. @nHub in Nigeria is building a global outsourcing company by equipping an upwardly mobile community. It is the first Technology hub in Northern Nigeria and the finest in West Africa, training world class software developers for placement in global firms
