Treasure earth is pleased to announce the appointment of Suraya Barnes as Creative Graphic Designer Prizes and Awards effective 4 June 2020. Suraya is a passionate multidisciplinary designer and recent graduate of Goldsmiths University where she studied Digital Arts Computing and Industrial Design. She brings an impressive range of creative design skills and broad industry experience across events, healthcare, food & hospitality and sport. Previous clients include Goldsmiths University in London, London Fashion week and Vogue.
Since graduating, Suraya has spent the last two years gaining agency experience. In her most recent role as Creative Artworker, she worked as part of the creative team to collaborate with clients to develop and execute ideas across several accounts. Her role includes working closely with brand guidelines, creating visual concepts, versioning, retouching images and ensuring all work meets high print and web standards.
Prior to this, she worked for an award winning agency assisting in creating transformative social media strategies and results-driven campaigns. Her role involved creating various graphics for a variety of clients across different social media platforms, idea generation, designing concepts, permutations, HTML newsletters, video and animation exploration. Past clients include Goldsmiths University of London, working as a design intern at the London fashion house Éthologie by Jasper Garvida, and Vogue.

The valued skills set that Suraya brings to Treasure Earth complements the existing team perfectly and will play an important role supporting our creative and marketing campaigns for the Prizes and Awards, contributing significantly to the Treasure Earth challenge addressing major global challenges of the 21st century such as global conflict and global warming by championing CSR and humanitarian care and with a special focus on youth.
