Gary Daveson,
Senior Board Consultant, HR and Talent Management and Member of the Advisory Board
Treasure Earth C.I.C is pleased to announce the appointment of Gary Daveson as SEnior Board Consultant, HR and Talent Management and Member of the Advisory effective 6 December 2018. Gary is a seasoned international HR professional with an impressive combination of strategic and operational experience and excellent leadership, communication and influencing skills at executive and C-suite level.
Gary started his career at Prudential Assurance in London before moving up as Senior HR Project Manager to First National Bank PLC, London. He moved to a role as Strategic Project Manager at Commonwealth Bank, Sydney Australia, and then as Director of the Australian Institute of Workplace Coaching and Mentoring. He further broadened his horizons, taking on senior HR positions internationally across the Middle East and India for some of the most prestigious corporations and private enterprises in the Middle East region.
Saudi Aramco, one of the largest companies in the world by revenue is where, as HR Director and Executive Development Leader and Coach, Gary developed the High-Performance Talent pool and implemented a coaching plan for high potential employees covering, performance and talent management.
AECOM is a US based multinational engineering firm, recognized in 2015 by Fortune magazine as a World’s Most Admired Company and ranked among the top Fortune 500 companies in 2018 as one of America’s largest companies with 87,000 employees across 150 countries worldwide. As HR Director, Gary performed numerous roles across several locations. While at AECOM Qatar he managed the delivery of corporate governance programs, resulting in the Qatar office leading the EMIA region and he partnered with senior leadership to streamline HR processes and expand the delivery of operational services by facilitating best practice.
He was then approached to take on the role as HR Director at AECOM’s Global Delivery Centre in India. As partner and trusted advisor to the CEO and Executive Leadership team, he assisted in building a new business from the ground up. He then became AECOM’s HR Director for the Civil & Infrastructure business in Dubai, UAE where he delivered the end to end people strategy for 1,500 employees, from 49 nationalities, across the entire Middle East region.
Gary is a qualified Chartered Fellow: FCIPD, United Kingdom; Senior Certified Professional: SHRM, United States; Certified Practitioner: AHRI, Australia; Fellow: AITD, Australia; and Member: AICD, Australia.
He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in HR Management & Industrial Relations, Griffith University, Australia and a Bachelor of Teaching, Griffith University, Australia. Gary also volunteers as a Coach and Mentor at the Prince’s Trust providing coaching and mentoring to clients enrolled on the Prince’s Trust Enterprise Mentoring program for economic empowerment.

His contribution will greatly support the success of the Paradigm Prizes, the strategic direction of the company and the vision of Treasure Earth in addressing major global challenges of the 21st century in areas of peace, climate, CSR and humanitarian care and with a particular focus on youth.
